Another point about these Liga Papas Fritas - they seem Very humidity sensitive flavour-wise, probably because of the tiny pieces of short filler.
You really want to pull these out of a humidor at nigh on 70%, like most non-cubans. (cubans are better smoked from a humidor at 65% or even dry boxed [put em somewhere dry ie 50-60% humidity] for a little while before smoking).
Ideally you want separate humidors, also because of the different smell. Keeping NCs in their cellophane and/or in an almost closed ziplock bag with extra humidity beads (preferably 70% ones!) inside the same humidor helps.
If you give your stogies a little squeeze you will soon learn when a cigar feels too wet (spongy and soft with no crackle noise) or too dry (no sponge and loud crackle).
