Havana Bar Rendez Vous

  1. I should add that dreams do come true ... in an earlier post about the Rafael Gonzalez Perlas I fantasised about having this type of heavy coffee flavoured cigar with a sweet creamy cocktail ... and ended up pretty much in heaven with a Cohiba Siglo VI and Brandy Alexander combo. So follow your dreams people, or your instinct/intuition/gut, just DO IT, DO IT NAOUW ;-)

  2. The other highlight for me out of this evening, apart from the aforementioned young Siglo, was that Matt's mild Cuaba Exclusivos from 2008 was perhaps the best match for the relatively delicate Taylor's 10yo tawny we all partook of. The youthful H Upmann Magnum 48 was pretty hefty in body, nice mix of woods though, and the last third needs Father Time to smooth it out... Scott pulled out a dominican cigar, big Arturo Fuente Anejo churchill, and some guy in camo with a beard took him out the back and the local firing squad did the rest. It was Havana Bar after all.
