Oops just found this draft post from back in June... We went straight from a port tasting session in a liquor store to the basin reserve for a smoke. Good times
p.s. smoking tip - notice how my band is quite high up on the cigar - i pushed it up to prevent a split in the wrapper from developing further. I was smoking an RyJ Exhibicion no.4: doesn't quite pack the pepper punch of the Petit Coronas but richer and smoother and a definite winner with port (especially Matt's port). Matt was chugging on a Monte no.4 which must be 3-4 years old and smoking beautifully, hefty steak and cocoa mix with an elegant cedar finish. Scott a Bolivar PC? but he was afflicted by a cold so we didn't taste his!!
